
Japan will open the world’s first airport officially named after Pokémon, Noto Satoyama Pokémon With You Airport, on July 7, 2026.
Located on the Noto Peninsula, the airport will operate under this special name until September 30, 2029.
The project is part of broader tourism and reconstruction efforts in the region, bringing Pokémon-themed attractions to visitors and fans.

The airport will feature extensive Pokémon decorations throughout the building, including:

Pikachu’s Village

The airport observation deck will feature Pikachu’s Village, filled with numerous Pikachu displays and additional hidden Pokémon.
