As teased back in February, Santa Cruz Skateboards will release a new line of Pokemon TCG skateboards on October 17, 2026, celebrating Pokemon's 30th anniversary.
Each skateboard will feature one of 30 different Pokemon card designs, with the decks packaged inside an opaque "blind bag" similar to a booster pack. This means collectors will not know which design they have received until the package is opened.
Each deck measures 8" × 31.6" and is fully rideable once wheels are attached, although they are likely to be popular with collectors who want to display them. The designs also feature a special sheen effect across the artwork.
Alongside the 30 regular designs, Santa Cruz will release three chase skateboards featuring collages of the 30 Pokemon cards in different languages.
These rare decks are similar to Secret Rares in the Pokemon TCG, with only 500 copies of each design being produced worldwide. They feature a glittery gold foil finish, making them particularly desirable for collectors.
The collaboration will also include a range of Pokemon TCG apparel, including hats, T-shirts, and sweaters, giving fans more ways to celebrate the Pokemon TCG's 30th anniversary.
