The full English set list for Chaos Rising, starring Mega Greninja ex, has now been revealed.
As previously reported, the set will release on May 22, 2026 as the fourth English Mega Evolution expansion.
Prerelease events will run from May 9 through May 17.
Chaos Rising is nearly identical to Japan’s Ninja Spinner set.
The English release adds three promo cards:
The English release removes Fennekin’s Illustration Rare from the main set and instead uses it as the Elite Trainer Box promo.
Chaos Rising contains a total of 122 cards, making it slightly smaller than Perfect Order, which had 124 cards.
This makes it one of the smallest English sets in recent years, with a size comparable to 2017’s Crimson Invasion.
Japan has not been releasing subsets recently, meaning current English sets are now primarily based on a single Japanese expansion.
With ongoing Pokémon TCG product shortages worldwide, it’s possible Creatures Inc. is intentionally creating fewer new cards to increase print capacity.
However, this remains speculation.
